Slugs and Bugs Tour!

Yes, it is finally happening.  After three years and countless requests, There is a Slugs and Bugs show in the works for Spring of 2010.  Mark Claassen at Elite Talent Agency is booking the tour, and you can contact him by clicking here or navigating to slugsandbugs.com.

Andrew Peterson, my Slugs and Bugs co-conspirator, will be neck deep in his solo Spring tour as well as finding time to work on the final installment of the Wingfeather Saga, so he will not be on the tour, but joining me out on the road is our good friend and seasoned performer Christopher Williams!  For those of you who don’t know Cdub from Jars of Clay tours or his years of solo touring, you will be glad to get to know him.  It is going to be a blast.

This friday we will be previewing rough sketches for the video that is being produced for the event, and we plan to kick off the tour with a show in Nashville in late February. We are booking now for weekends this Spring, so drop us a note if this sounds like something your church would enjoy.

Because silliness is next to Godliness,

Randall

Returning to your blog after eons away, as a result of your email about your and Andrew’s Slugs and Bugs CD. My wife and I saw you both loooong ago at a church in Sun Prairie, WI. Glad to know you’re still creating and performing. I shared the S&B CD website link with my wife who is the Children’s Ministry Coordinator of our church – perhaps there will be some sales as a result… I run a bi-monthly coffeehouse, so if you ever are performing in our area and looking for an “augmentation gig” (translation, we’re on a small budget), send an email.

Anyhow, keep up the creative work. I’m gonna use that line “Silliness is next to Godliness”. I like that very much. If you think about it, He certainly does have a sense of humor and a flair for creative diversity… plus He’s endlessly patient and tolerant with His creatures too, so He’s gotta appreciate ALL of our puns and wordplay, right?
